Madeline Jarrard, 17, is a senior at Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. She is editor-in-chief of the school’s magazine Flight and section editor of the school yearbook. At American University, she anchored for DWC/TV production. She has been captain of the speech and debate team for two years and has qualified for nationals every year in high school. In her free time she leads as an officer at Tennessee’s Youth in Government program, coaches middle school speech and debate students and participates in martial arts. She hopes to pursue journalism at MU, Elon University or American University. She is sister to Nathaniel, sister-in-law to Courtney Jarrard and daughter of David and Brenda Jarrard.
